IMPACT relies on dozens of volunteers to administer our programs, conduct trail-maintenance days, organize special events; and raise and administer grants to carry out major improvements on public forest trails in Allegany County.

We depend on the generosity of members and other donors who understand the importance of preserving our county’s forests and wildlife habitats—which are also our watersheds—for the use and benefit of current and future generations.

With relatively modest local financial support we have the capacity to leverage large public and private grants because of our partnership with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
